Never received my order

I ordered an item and the company put an incomplete address. The item went back to Adventure RV, and they were going to issue a refund. The refund never happened, and the phone number is never answered. It always says "Mailbox is full".

Added/paid extra for Expedite Order Processing ($868.75 for $691.06 replacement part ) and also paid/added 2 day shipping. No return status or shipping info received after 2 days. Called but mailbox full. Sent email why they fulfilled an order shown as available but they stated was back ordered. Their answer blamed the mfr. and that their website just give info not how many weeks this would take. Don't even know where they are getting it from. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. FRAUDULENT online system and processes.

I received wrong item it was a completely different part number than what I orderd. they sent me a RMA number for return I had to pay shipping back. very disappointed in service when they took phone calls service was always good to excellent. now its terrible online only and super slow response times.

New heater dont work!!!

Installed new heater work for two days on my 2 week vacation at 6000 feet we were very cold!!!! Had a electrician come out and troubleshoot it. He said the modual bord not sending signal to igniter !!!

Same here. Had a terrible time getting a refund.

Had to keep asking to speak with a supervisor to no avail.

Ended up having to escalate it before something was done. Then then didn't refund the shipping that I paid to get the wrong item.

Here’s a really long review of my experience purchasing a part from AdventureRV.net. They had my part and the webpage said it was in stock, I ordered online, paid for it and received a receipt with a shipping date. A day before the shipping date I received an email that said the part was back-ordered and wouldn’t ship for another week and asked if I wanted to cancel or keep the order. I said keep the order. Then a few days later received another email that said the part was further back-ordered and would be an additional week, and asked if I want to cancel or keep the order. I said that I was running out of time to get the part and would like to keep the order but could they ship it more quickly than the standard shipping I originally agreed to. AdventureRV said they could not express ship it. I said I will gladly pay extra for express shipping. They said the part was coming from the manufacturer and they had no control over shipping and that the order would have to stay standard shipping as planned originally.

Looking at my schedule, I decided to keep the order knowing that I would only have one day to get it installed after I receive it. The day after it was supposed to actually ship (after 2 back orders) I had not received notice that it had shipped at all. I called AdventureRv on the phone only to hear a message that they do not take phone calls and I would have to send them an email or get on their chat room on their website. I go to the chat room, type in my question: Has my order (with order number) shipped? I sat with no response and got an email an hour later that said they were checking on it and would let me know what they find out.

I’m writing this review while waiting on the answer. Here is my takeaway at this point:

•They did not have my part in stock and there was no way to know that before I ordered it.

•They are drop shipping it from the manufacturer and have no control over the shipping.

•They do not have phone access and will not talk to you on the phone, even when I typed in my cell number and asked them to call me.

•I will not ever order from these people again and I suggest you don’t either.

Just for informational purposes, here is my part and why I need it sent quicker. My wife and I bought an RV and are taking off around the country in it and will be towing a Honda CR-V behind the motorhome. I ordered a Base Plate to hook onto my Honda for towing. This base plate is especially made for this vehicle and I have to have it installed by a professional mechanic. I like to do as many things as I can by myself because it usually saves me money. I found my Honda Base Plate in many different places but decided on AdventyreRv because they were the cheapest.

Now, my wife and I have a leave date set in stone because we are actually going on a traveling nurse program, where we travel around the country and work at big hospitals for 3 month assignments. I have to have this part and get it installed so we can leave. I had a one month time frame to get this accomplished and have wasted 3 weeks with AdventureRV just dealing with their inability to deliver a product.

Because I live in a rural area, I do quite a bit of purchasing online and have received most of the parts I’ve needed for this trip from other sources, without a problem. Until now. Here is my current predicament:

•If the order did not ship yesterday. It probably won’t get here in time.

•I can’t cancel the order and buy it somewhere else if it has already shipped because they already have my money and I don’t need 2 of them.

•I really want to buy it somewhere else now but can’t do that until they get back with me, again, I can’t afford 2 of them.

•If they did not ship it and I cancel it today I will now have to spend an extra hundred dollars to have it express shipped from someone who does have it in stock. This part is heavy.

•How long does it take them to give me my money back?

I will continue this review after I get a response from AdventureRv about the shipping. I told them they had 2 hours to respond before I cancel the order.

WOW, they actually responded within 2 hours. The email says that the manufacturer apologizes for the delay due to production but can ship it out today. If I want to cancel the order they need to know within 1 hour. I responded to CANCEL the order, yesterday you missed the 3rd shipping date, how can I expect it to get shipped today?

Here is a little piece of advice for AdventureRv. I have been in customer service most my life. Most customers are pretty good people and occasionally you’ll get an ill-mannered rude customer. However, the way to keep long-term customers is to talk to them, kindly. Have a discussion about the issue so the customer can make an informed decision. In hindsight, I would have canceled this order during the second shipping postponement if they would have called me. Honestly, if AdvetureRv would have just contacted me when I placed the order to tell me that they didn’t have it in stock, I could have saved us both a lot of time and many… many emails. But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t order from you in the future because I understand the back-order dilemma.

Customer service is a face-to-face experience. My conclusion is that AdventureRV must be managed and operated by millennials. Unable to communicate verbally.

One last point. I plan to post this on every review board I can find and if someone from AdventureRV replies to my post with a billion excuses and apologies then they will prove my point. Get that person off the computer and on a phone.

Poor customer service

All you can do is email or chat and chat cant help but with orders. they called me and left a non working number to return their call. Just ended up cancelling my order. After 15 days of bull. If you submit a ticket through their site, that takes up to 3 days. They do not have a good method of communication. They said they do but i know otherwise. Customer service was also rude to me. Just buy elsewhere and do yourself a favor. this is also bull. You have to write at least 100 words to post this. give it up already!!! Happy I wrote 100 words what is up with this system.

Yes. I sent it to buy something off their site.

Their system is broken. when you call their number nobody answers and they claim you can use their chat function. But the chat function is broken as well. You cannot send a email directly you have to create a convoluted system producing a ticket of some sort.

Which I did but there was no way to enter what I wrote. So I guess these folks are slowly committing business suicide.

After spending actually a few hours messing around with their busted system I went back on the net and actually found a company that was a bit cheaper for the products that I need. So yeah do yourself a favor and make believe this company does not exist.

It happened yesterday. Yes, I opened a ticket to which I got an inane response (canned I suppose).

Then I tried Chat with an equal "non-response. Now I have two charges on my MasterCard and I can't talk to anyone. No way to get through.

I tried PayPal payment first and it did not generate an order. Then I re-entered the order and when I clicked on "Confirm" it immediately charged my credit card but left the item in my "Cart".

No order in my Account list. I entered a trouble ticket. They told me what I already knew, and told me to enter the order again, which I did. Again my MasterCard was immediately charged but still no order.

I tried to find another telephone number to no avail. And found this site in the process.

I am dealing with this same situation... I made 4 attempts to purchase my cart, with an error message that the billing address didn't match.

It DID. Called my bank they said the 4th attempt went through and something about there being 6 items, I only ordered 3. The email was total BS, and Ryan on the chat was an *** and told me to make a ticket. UGH!!

I did and the ticket was useless. Note they also shut down at 4pm Tennessee time...

I'm in Oregon it's only 2pm here. Seriously debating if it's really worth the $50++ that I'm going to save on the purchase.
